The past twelve months on Vashon Island saw more sales on Maury Island and along Quartermaster Harbor, fewer between Dilworth and Vashon Heights, and a resurgence of sales along the Colvos Passage, where supply was exhausted after a flurry of sales two years before. Although connected by ferry to West Seattle in the north and Ruston in Tacoma on the south end, Vashon offers a more remote, rustic quality of life than competing areas.

The average price paid in this period was $711,000; and at 81 CDOM, market time to sell was slightly lower than for waterfront homes on Bainbridge Island. The highest price was paid for a waterfront home on Quartermaster Harbor between Burton and Portage.
