Demand and inventory for waterfront homes on Vashon Island has steadily increased since 2014 with 14 in 2014, 18 in 2015 and 22 in 2016. Despite more homes sales, average days on market has sharply decreased, over 46%, since 2014 (131 days to 70). 

Although the average list price and average sales prices in 2016 have actually gone down from where they were in 2015, average price per square foot has consistently increased, nearly 35%, from 2014 to 2016 ($306.94 to $413.97).
